Stellenbosch FC marksman Iqraam Rayners is not looking to commit career suicide by leaving Stellenbosch at the current moment and maintained he is just focused on hitting the ground running in the top flight.
Rayners built a reputation of finding the back of the net for himself in the National First Division after banging in 19 goals to lift Stellenbosch FC to the Absa Premiership but has maintained he will not be open to a move away from the Western Cape outfit for now.
"I'm staying with the club because sometimes making moves can damage you as a player," Rayners told KickOff Megazine.
"I don't want to regret any of my decisions by joining a bigger club and ending up not getting game-time, sitting on the bench not contributing. I want to grow and I believe with Stellenbosch I can achieve that.
"I don't think there will be any pressure on me, I will focus on my game and I can tell you what I did in the National First Division, I can do it again. With belief and hard work it's possible."
