South African Under-20 head coach Thabo Senong is excited to have key marksman Lyle Foster back for the Fifa U20 World Cup and believes the return of the Monaco striker is a 'huge boost'.
Having missed the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Niger in February due to club commitments, Lyle Foster will likely walk straight into the Amajita starting line-up in the World Cup after ultimately guiding them to the AFCON before missing out due to club duty.
It was no surprise that the Amajita struggled on attack in Niger without the former Orlando Pirates striker and were ultimately forced to alter their usual tactics due to not having their key marksman but Senong is excited to have the Monaco man back.
"Foster comes with European experience and that gives us a huge boost, because we struggled a bit without him in Niger.
"He's been our top striker for the past two years, so him coming back is a big thing,'' said Senong.
