Former Moroka Swallows head coach Zeca Marques claims he can succeed at managing a big club like Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.
The Amakhosi are looking for a new manager after sacking Ernst Middendorp following their heartbreaking final day Absa Premiership title loss to Mamelodi Sundowns ans Zeca Marques believes he has what it takes to restore the Amakhosi to their glory days.
Marques' second stint with Swallows FC down in the GladAfrica Championship ended on a sour note however the Portuguese coach believes he still has more in the tank given the fact that he holds a UEFA A Licence in coaching.
"I'm more than capable of coaching Chiefs, yes obviously. I have a UEFA Pro Licence which is more than capable. I know my qualities of being a coach. My qualifications make me more than capable of coaching Chiefs." - Marques told KickOff.
"With the UEFA Pro Licence you are on par to coach... you know not everyone has a UEFA Pro License, because it's the highest licence you can get. If you get that licence, you must know you are capable of coaching teams."

"It was a friend of mine who spoke to Chiefs. And they said no, I don't have the European experience. That's all. There's nothing wrong with that. It was a friend who asked and they said we're looking for a coach with European experience, and it's fine."
Gavin Hunt, Benni McCarthy and Eric Tinkler are reportedly leading the race for the Amakhosi hot seat however it remains to be seen whether any other European names are in the hat.
